Hi guys, im a new mobile spray tanner using Sienna x and i really like some of their retail products which has made me think that at some point i would probably like to sell aswell as offering my tanning service. My problem is that im not sure how is the best way to do this as a mobile therapist?. I don't want to buy in stock now which i may never sell, and obviously taking into account postage charges its not really cost effective to be ordering the odd thing here and there. I assume most of these orders can come from tan parties? if so, would it be a matter of taking along sachet samples of all the retail products so that people can test them? in the hope that you get a worthwhile order from that? Finally, under what circumstances do you usually charge for the 15ml sachets? is it at tan parties or do you normally use these for treats in goody bags? Really sorry for all the questions i basically haven't got much idea at the min on how to maximise my income and have yet to organise a spray tan party. If you can answer any of the above it would be a great help - Many thanks x.

I think it would be a good idea to have one of each item you will offer with you, in a basket or something, that you can show at the end of the service/party, so they can see what is available, and then take orders. I am sure your parties will be more worh while than the single services. But you could do one bulk order each week or biweekly, so all those orders come to you with one shipment charge, and your not making deliveries constantly throughout the week.
Just have the clients know you make your orders on such and such day each month or biweekly, etc... and when they can expect to get their order in?
I guess whatever works best for you. The brand you use, you can't get it from a local supply store?

The brand you use you can actually pop along the East Lancs to the Creative Academy + Manchester in Leigh and see the whole Sienna X range. We are the training and trade supplier for the North West, we have a whole shop full. It would be very easy for you to take orders and then pop along to purchase so that you can offer this service to your clients. Tel: 01942 675580 for directions.
