Spray Tanning & Acne

Hi to all you spray taaning geeks,

I have a Girl who I am spraying on the weekend and she has some acne on her face just aroung the cheek area, there's no broken skin just the bumps. I thought about spraying her face but further away than normal but I am worried about the tan clogging around the acne/spotty area.

Any tips, idea's, do's, don't & past experience welcome.

I would think it would look uneven and some tans can go into the pores and make black heads look worse. I would personally get her to use a non-comedogenic bronzer over her make up. Interested to hear others ideas

I used to have acne and found the tan hid the scars if anything. It made me feel more confident about wearing no make-up and going out.
It will clog in pores in a little but I do find,like you say if you spray further away this does help. Done let her talk you into giving her two coats on her face. I would probably warn her this can happen but usually looks better after a few days of washing.
I agree with Weezie on the bronzer. Thank god for bronzer lol xxx

I spray my nephew all the time and he has acne on his face.
He loves having a tan on his face as it makes his skin look better.
He takes medication now which has helped and i always spray his face twice and it never made it worse.

Anyway I sprayed my lady on sat, I sprayed just one coat slightly further away than normal and she was over the moon. Just like a few of you mentioned she said it made her feel great having a tan, made her acne less noticable and gave her more confidence, I said to her to have regular sprays instead of putting on thick layers of foundation and just use tinted moisturiser if neccessary and of course the Life Saving Bronzer.
