Well you have the freedom of choice....BUT

1) If you are undertaking this function and charging the general public for the privilege you do need insurance..accredited training will facilitate this

2) To have proper training will (given the small amount of cost) repay itself time and time again...you will use far less solution however the main consideration is one of turning out the best tan possible at the most economical cost...a good quality service can only lead to repeat business and word of mouth spreading.

Good luck

totally agree with the above and also would like to add the following

researching a new venture is always the way forward and in the current climate the correct way of moving forward with your decision. remember this site is only a tiny amount of people using the various products.. check out the beauty mags and see whats in there.. if a company is well established.. and again not just on here... they will have lots of marketing that clients are used to seeing and therefore will feel confident in trying...

Check out the Proffessional beauty website and see who is going to be at the show this March.. i am sure you will see who are the main contenders on the market these days

all the main contenders have training which is a must if you want to be able to tan professionally... just do your research well.. and remember there is a world away from the salongeek.. so research in depth and good luck and let us know how u get on

I am an agent for LA Tan voted Tan of the year 2 years in a row! I have been using LA Tan for over a year now and my clients love it, Its so natural and it gives a great colour that fades evenly. We offering Professional starter kits that include FREE Training. You will need to be certified for insurance purposes.

Hi Becky,
given that this posting is a touch on the old side the poster I believe has already started her spray tan business and is thoroughly enjoying spreading the .
