Hi Geeks,

I am nail and Hair geek really but i was after a bit of advice..... I am thinking about adding spray tanning to reportoire and was wondering if you could steer me in the right direction.

I've checked out some of the threads and discussions on here and have gained loads of really good advice but i've kind of put my name down for a tanning training at Sally's (Its with Skintruth/Tan truth) Is this course going to be very basic and would you advise doing something a bit more indepth??

Also i was looking at the student/value kit from siennaX. Is it worth getting it to start with a) to see how i get on and b) to see if i can make it work in this area.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks x

Hi.

It's entirely your decision who you train with.

Are you having one 2 one training or in a group?

Are you also going to receive a guilds accredited certificate and also are they going to give you after sales support?

At the end of the day it's your decision and money that is going to pay for this, so make sure you are getting value and I would consider the above and also ask what they cover in their training, i.e, Health and Safety, Contraindications, maintenance of equipment etc.

You are your own boss and can choose what solution and what company you go with in the end.

I would definately say you have made a good decision to add this onto you menu of treatments - good luck. x

Hi Kirstie,

As mentioned by Glam it is your decision who you train with. But what i would suggest is you buy the tanning machine which you was taught with when you begin as you will learn how to use the machine.

I trained with couture and thought it will brill the lady come to my home to teach me i supplied 3 models and she first taught me how to use the machine then taught me about the lotion, she then sprayed one model to show me how it goes and took me step by step to spray the other two. I received a very good manual and since then never looked back, training was good priced and went so indepth.

hths x
