Hi fellow geeks,
Im sooooo happy i just did my first spray tan with my new gun from Nouvatan, wow what a difference its made. Im so looking forward to finishing work tonight so i can use their solution on myself. Anyone have any tips on doing a self spray tan?
Thanks

so the gun fitted !! great news saved you buying a new machine then :D:D as for self tanning legs face n arms and chest are not a problem but there are some areas you just cant spray your self, so .... spray solution onto you mitt and rub it in over your shoulders back of neck ect its not an ideal way and it wastes some but it works, we have brought out a mousse now that is applied with a foam mitt thats ideal for tanning your self and its great for top ups on hands and face hth

did a different gun fit your machine.. i might be looking for a new gun because mine splatters a wee bit out of the top and runs down the bottle when i am spraying..
xx

sue was unlucky enough to have been sold a paint sprayer on ebay !! she paid the same price as we would ask for a 5008 maximist,:twisted: the ebayer who sold it to her refused to give her a refund, she then enquired about buying a maximist from us, but when i realised that the base unit she had purchased was a 1.7 psi unit and that it was only the gun that was at fault i persuaded her not to buy a full machine from us and just have a gun, saving her lots of money :D:D
moral of this story DONT BUY ON EBAY !!!

Great idea going to try it now. Will still be purchasing new machine soon and keep this one for spares.

That's great customer service! Well done, bet she was chuffed to bits about that :D

Bit different to when my original supplier who I trained with tried to rip me off for 80 quid plus vat for a new needle for my Minimist when I dropped mine and bent the tip! Suffered that for 18 months until I managed to get one elsewhere for a fiver including the P&P!!!

£80.00 !!!! for a needle for a minimist :eek: a fiver is about right.. I used to sharpen/regrind the bent needles on the minimist for free for our customers.... we dont stock that machine any more as i spent hours every day fixing them, bent needles miss spraying, flat gasket s, burned out motors ect ect plus all the unhappy customers :o:o
lifes so much easier nowadays :D
RIP minimist t200 LONG LIVE THE MAXIMIST 5008

Tried the Maximist, hated it with a PASSION!!! Love my Minimist and touch wood, apart from the needle, haven't had any problems with mine :D :D My hubby filed my needle straight (ish) for me so I could carry on spraying, slave driver!! lol

Re the needle price, I knew I was being ripped off at the time as I found the same thing in the States for $15 but they wouldnt sell me one as they had a supplier here - the ones that wanted to rip me off! You live and learn ;)
