Iv had two complaints in the last two weeks about the lack of tan om clients feet, one girl even was adament i never even sprayed her feet, although i specificaly remember doing it. I was taught to only lightly mist over the feet and even use barrier cream (which i dont do anyway) it has really knocked my confidence having these complaints as i aim to please and dont want people talking. Has any one ever had the same problem with clients? From now on i think im goin to explain i was trained not to spray too much and then give the clients an option for me to go over them. A few months back i had a complaint about feet being over sprayed, i cant seem to win!!

Feet and hands are always a tricky one, I wasn't trained to use barrier cream either I only use it in really dry skin situations otherwise I think the feet and hand don't 'take'.
Are you stopping spraying at the ankle and coming off at the feet so the mist falls onto the feet? Some people circle spray over hands and feet?
With feet I spray straight down the leg stop at the ankle or there abouts and mist falls onto feet BUT if you have a gun with very little overspray then you will have to spray the feet lightly. Another good point is to kneel on the floor whilst doing this instead of bending down then you can have a much better control of the spray and view of the feet.
I hope this helps.:D
Don't let this knock your confidence

ye I circle spray the feet anyway, the way I was taught to do so, today i made sure I double sprayed everyones and they seemed fine although they still looked lighter than the rest of the tan.

I always use an oil free spray on hands, elbows, knees & feet, never had a problem with them, I turn gun down when body done the do the foot in 3 sprays front, side, side. Obviously everyones technique is different though.
Is it just since its been hot? are these clients wearing socks? xx
