Hi all,

New to this site, so if I am posting in the wrong section feel free to move me!

I just wanted to ask a question about St Tropez tan. Is it possible for it not to work on people?

I used to use the mousse for a couple of years, but I noticed the last few times it didn't come up the way it used to and I was starting to streak a lot. So I moved to different tans.

Recently I have had a few spray tans done from the same girl. She used fake bake a couple of times and a different tan ( I can't remember the name) and they turned out really well and even.

So she bought some St Tropez, and used it on me yesterday. I woke up today with streaks and patches :?:

I didn't change my pre tanning routine and she didn't change her tanning technique.

So I am wondering is it that St Tropez just doesn't work for me?

Are you on medication,hormonal,pregant?

St Tropez should work on everyone,I have never had a problem with it,other than IF there is an underlying issue....as above!!!!

I use St Tropez and never had any problems with it! Yes it should work on everyone, but everyone does go a different shade depending on their skin colour. I do the classic St Tropez which is applied manually, which I start with a full body exfoliation, then they shower it off, apply moisturiser to knees ,feet, elbows & hands then I apply the tan. Maybe you have a underlying problem:?: Are you pale:?: :D

Thanks for the replies.

No I have no underlying problems and I'm not pregnant. I am pale, but I just don't understand how the fake bake and sun lab worked but the st tropez didn't :?:

If it had been the first time it didn't work I would have maybe put it down to her application, but because the mousse acted funny on me too that's what made me think it wouldn't work.

Maybe I should try it again and see? But I honestly can't think of anything I did that might have been different!

Thanks :)
