been doing acrylic nails two yrs with french tips and now feel that i need to improve.

desperatly want to be able to do amazing nails like so many people on this site can do.

going to now start with white acrylic on tips and wonderd how to best go about it.

shall i invest in a nail trainer?

also, when it comes to refills am i right in thinking about 4wks is with pink acrylic only and then rebalance with white on 5th or 6th.

do you just reduce thickness and reapply white or file all off completly?

any books recommended. feel like such a novice:irked:

The one and only book you will need is Nail class by our very own Gigi Rouse ! give S2 a call as they have it ! it really is fab xx

Also have a look on youtube for french refill vidios they have some great stuff.
If you havent been trained, go and do a rebalance cource and they will show you how and when to do it. Midlady nail book is a great book.

There's a great tutorial on here about French Rebalancing.

I would certainly be encouraging someone to come back for a rebalance a little more often that 4 weeks.

Most people on here encourage 2-3 weeks. This is usually for the pink and whites to be rebalanced as well. That way the client keeps her nails looking fab all the time.

you need to rebalance the nail and replace the smile line etc... when it is needed as clients nails vary.x

thanks everyone this site is so so helpfull dont know what id do without it now. x
