Sticky Nails in the sun!

Hi Geeks
Can I just ask you all hat is the best top coat to use on the top of acrylic enhancements that wont go sticky when clients use suntan cream etc.
So many people have asked me just lately I really need to find something to use.

I have never heard this before I have to say....top coats that go sticky with suncream hmm

Is it a topcoat that you are using on clients?

I mean you could use a uv topcoat, but i have to say never heard of that before

Why not just advise your clients not to get suntan oils all over their nails? They apply the lotion and take a few seconds to just wipe the surface of their nails.

I use suntan creams every day practically as I live where it is sunny and do not like to tan .. my nails never go sticky. What do these people use and what does it do to their skin if it is melting their top coat???

i too have experienced it when putting cream on my baby, it was Ambre Solaire. The surface of the nail just goes very dull and sticky.
I've tried so carefully not to get it on my nails but sometimes its just not possible.
A client asked me last night to find out if there was anything out there to stop it happening. I use a UV top coat so was just wondering if there was anything else x

Sometimes lotions contain deet, the mosquito repellent, there have been threads before about it affecting enamel top coats and making them go sticky etc.

I mainly use Brisa gel as my enhancement product and have no problems at all with the Gloss top coat, more than likely because it's a buff off gel.

I use NSI Glaze n Go gel topcoat to finish all my enhancements, cuts down on time as no buffing needed, just file into shape with a 150grit wipe with cleanse or brush to get rid of dust then apply and cure for 90 seconds in a UV lamp, then client straight out the door. Brilliant shine and one bottle goes a long way. x
