OK so I am still training and very new to L&P so it may be something so simple that I am doing which causes my stray brush hairs to get in the way but when I have popped my bead on the enhancement and I start to attempt to make my smile lines I find that stray hairs and moving very tony bits of product around -I just cannot get my brush to stay as one - is it due me not being able to perfect my L&P ratio's yet and the product could be too wet or too dry or something else.

Thanks for feedback.

Hiya - I am also in training so please be welcome to wait on a more professional opinion...! However - it sounds more like the brush than your application etc. The brush I got in my training kit isn't that great, but we were told that we were "likely to wreck them anyway"! Not sure I entirely agree as I plan to be meticulous with looking after it! Maybe consider upgrading your brush :) x

Its a Crystal Touch Pro Styler #8 brush so not the cheapest of brushes.

Maybe there's some product in your brush, if so, wipe it!

As Cathie has advised, make sure your brush is clean. Give it a good rinse with monomer. If you continue to have the odd hair which repeatedly sticks out or gets in the way, cut it off at the base. Do not pull hairs out. HTHs x

It could actually be that as my trainer did noticed that my monomer needed changing a few times. Also because I am not getting my mix ratios quite right I did end up a few times with product still in the brush.

Thanks x

Just make sure you don't leave product in your brush for any length of time because it will ruin it x

There you go then, answered your own question lol! When monomer gets chewey, the wrong ratio is being used and product is trapped in your brush, only to be swilled out when your next put the brush in the dappen dish, making it chewier......you'll get ther hun xxx

Pretty much what i was going to say but cathies wording is much nicer lol:green:

I remember one brush in particular that i had and there was 2 hairs sticking out all the time, caused me no end of problems untill i got my stork scissors and cut them off at the base of the bristles...hey presto! no more sticking out hairs and nothing getting in the way, worked a treat after that.

Thank you ladies x
