I really don't know what to do all I've had is problems with my trainers hair that she tells, all I got was a rude response anyway was due to remove my prebondsN managed to removed the bonds but can't remove keratin off my hair, tried bond lotion, pliers, conditioner everything!!! Phoned up my trainer who is also my supplier. Now I am worried for clients hair as I think it her prebon aren't keratin!!! Fuming and seeking legal advice and contacting trading standards, went to hairdresser today all they said is that they will try there best to remove glue. :( really do not know whaty to do and I have now changed my supplier to rapunzel hair. Please help just feel like crying

Could you message me the trainer as I'm a little worried about mine! Although I don't use their hair anyway x

Hi I don't know this product but have u tried acetone u probably have ,my niece had a srt of prebonds done from some random lady and then came to.me to take them out acetone did nothing I ended up using turpentine and wall paper paste remover clearly I would not do this to a client ,she tried to contact the woman with no success.

Okay well what should I do legally? I've had enough of excuses and I'm not going to be very happy if the same thing happens to my clients hair. X

Ok you shouldn't really be removing them yourself but if it's just acetone you are using sometimes that's not enough I used to use acetone and it took forever getting the extensions out your hair is the easy part it's getting the leftover bits of glue that are the hard part you need bond remover I normally buy the one from lush us this is what I hate about bonds removing them is a pain in the backside lol x

if acetone does not remove the binds Nd residue then the supplier usually retails their own specific remover.

if the supplier does not retail a specific remover and acetone is not doing anything then I'd email the supplier and they should provide a solution or recommend what to do. a regular hair dressers will probably just recommend conditioning treatments but this won't have much impact until the most part of the glue is removed.

it doesn't sound right that the supplier can recommend what to use or tell you why acetone isn't working xx

Hi I emailed my trainer and supplier for help and also stated that I was concerned about clients hair and also stated that I was told from a salon who specialises in prebonded that it wasn't keratin but another form of glue which is not hair. I got an email back full of abuse and did not get any help, a friend of mine who is a qualified hair extensionist couldn't budge the residue out. I have now go it out as I have went too a salon, luckily managed to get it out, my scalp is in agony and I have been suffering heasaches for 3 days!! I will be taking matters further and will be gatherting evidence as well. Wish me luck
