Sugaring, with or against hairgrowth?

i took my sugaring course with Nagwa in Leeds a few weeks ago. We were taught to spread with the hair growth and take off against the hair growth
and also the same with the sugar paste. After looking at other courses and on You Tube it seems some sugarists take off with the hair growth. I know I should practice the way I was taught but just out of interest can anyone on here spread any light on this subject. Thanks

I was trained by Nagwa also (many moons ago). Always apply with hair growth and remove against.
