Hi everyone.
Our new salon is nearly ready, upstairs will be beauty and sun beds.

TBH I've never been one for sun beds so have no idea on what to charge, I don't want to be too cheap then again I don't want to over price.

What do you guys charge or pay?

New rules have now been introduced, no beds should have a light reading of more than 0.3. So saying I pay this amount but the tubes are 250w will soon no longer apply

Hi, we charge 50p per minute if people pay as they go, but we also do package deals which work out cheaper per minute for people. It depends on your location, the quality of your beds, and whether you go up in single minutes or go by 3's or 5's etc.
All tubes have to be 0.3 compliant. This was brought in quite a long time ago now and all suppliers will sell tubes that are 0.3 compliant, if they emit a higher light reading then the company could be shut down.
You can buy your own light reading metre off ebay and test them yourself too. x
