Supplies + Suppliers

Hey all!!

Im extreamly new to all this, but have been doing reseach as i hope to take a nail tech course with in the next few months just waiting to hear back from different places.

I was looking for suppliers for your equiptment nails ect....

I was wondering which company or shop you all use and which are of good quality..

I have been looking on ebay and found loads of stuff... but obviously this many and probably aint as good quality as some shops you all use.. but the prices do seem really good.
I do though believe in you get what ya pay for so i want to look into different suppliers and supplys more closely to get a rough idea of prices and quality !! thanks guys

There are many suppliers listed if you look on the 'LINKS' section of the site.

I would also suggest if you are serious about nails as a profession that you subscribe to SCRATCH magazine which is a UK Professional nail magazine.

As for ebay .... please don't! It is not the professional way to go and you sound as if you have a professional attitude. Too many bad stories. If I thought my hairdresser was buying off ebay I'd leave her in a heartbeat.

Last bit of advice ... Never start your business underfunded. The reason so many fail at nails is that they go for cheap classes to learn and buy cheap naff products from all over the place. How can they ever expect to compete with the good nail technicians with this attitude?
If you can't afford to do it right then don't do it at all.

If you are looking to go on a nail course doing acrylic nails creative I believe are the best. Look under sweet squared or pm mrs geek.
