Talent shows on TV

Is anyone watching these talent shows that are on TV lately? There was one the other night with the opera guy from Carphone Warehouse who was absolutely amazing .. . and the monkey who sang Michael Jackson - genius .

Today there were some lads who were fab at dancing (hip hop? not sure) etc, and a boy who blew me away with his rendition of Unchained Melody

Which have been your favourites?

I didn't see it on sat night, but I did watch most of it on sun night. That boy of 14 had me in tears, what a beautiful voice, and he seemed like such a lovely boy.

The older lady that rapped, made me laugh, good on her I say!!!

I have to say that I have never quite seen anything like the lady who used an angle grinder I think she will be a firm favourite with the men!!!!

The man who did the impressions at the end, what a genuine man, who was overwhelmed at getting through, I don't think we have seen the last of him.

It was a good show, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

the dance troupe from liverpool were cool and those free runners are awesome, ant n dec made me laugh acting like they were part of the act lmao:lol::lol:

OMG that boy is amazing. I have just sat watching Dominic with tears streaming down my face. Huge Talent

I cannot believe they didn't put Dominic through......I would have put him through for just his smile! never mind his fab voice.

Hopefully Simon will give him a recording contract instead!!!

Does anyone remember ...years ago.....I think it was on a Sunday a quiz show with teams of 2 people 1 of whom was a singer or had a talent...and they would get asked various questions and if they got through to the 2nd round the talent got to do their bit. It ended up the ones that got through to the final had to guess a rock family ie rock stars of varying ages that would be mum dad etc......I think Michael Barrymore was the presenter ( yeah I know!!!)

Well one week that guy from carphone warehouse was on. Paul Pott...and he won!! I can't remember how much money they got, a few thousand...I always remember what a great voice he had, and when asked what he would do with the money he said he would get proper singing lessons!!!

Honest I am not making this up....anyone else remember this...and what it was called?

I do believe that the X Factor has reduced its age to 14, so you never know we may be seeing more of Dominic.

Gutted, gutted, gutted that Dominic did not get through. He was so deserving over the other guy. I think the final decision was based on the fact that the two finalist would both be singers, which is just so unfair IMO.

Well Liam thought it should be the little boy.....but it is for a variety show.....when was the last time you saw a really great ventrilaquist.....definately a variety act....singers are ten a penny!
