Tan didn't take??

Just did a full body spray on my best friend, shes showered this morning and text me saying shes hardly tanned?? She sent me a pic of her tan line....hardly anything. I used Sienna 8% and she showered using Body Shop Grapefruit. Argh!!

Did she follow correct prep? No creams on the skin?
Did you spray close enough to her body?
8% is a light percentage, is she used to having darker tans? Does she ran in the sun?

8% is very light so if she's a darker skin tone it won't show up very much at all. Did she leave it on for the full 10 - 12 hours?

Iv sprayed her before with 8% and it was fine. She even had a bath last time and it stayed quite well. She says she hasnt used anything oil based and we are so confused why it didnt stick!! Spraying her again 2nite, undecided whether to stick to 8% and use more solution, or bump up to 10%, as I said 8 was fine last time!! She left it overnight so plenty time x
