HI!
I recently got my starter kit from TanTrick was really impressed, but I firstly used my tan tent last night as i went away for 2 wks and when i popped it up it clicked, and wasn't standing straight until i attached the plastic cover, i did the tan and then couldn't put it down!!!
I managed to squeeze it in the boot of my car to avoid embarrassment infront of client and i still can;t put it down,,, ive watched utube vids loads to ensure im doing it right and i am!

anyone else had this problem with their tents help!? ive emailed them for help so see what they say... im gutted!!

It sounds like the frame work in the tent is twisted, this happens when they are new & stiff,
you need to feel all the way around the frame and make sure it isnt twisted anywhere, if it is just twist it back into place, then try to put it down,
is your tantrick trainer near enough to contact ?
if she is she will help you to get it back down and show you the problem, and the technique again for putting it back down, hth

when i did my training i was taught how to fold the brown tent with windows i practised loads but still struggled we were offerred 2 different tent types one was brown with windows the other was the black one with a see threw top it was slightly more expensive but it folded much easier for me some of the other girls liked the brown one and had no probs with it but i paid the extra for the skylight model maybe its because i am only 5ft 1 lol  i am not sure but i think the brown type only folds one way my black one is much easier for me

Just like Loubylou said, it is quite normal that the tent is stiff the first few times it's put down, if you have a look at this link you can see the easiest way to put it down without bending it YouTube - Pop Up Spray Tanning Tent

If your tent is not standing up straight it might be the case because the rods have twisted around each other. Run your hands along the frame to see if the rods are running parallel all the time - if they are not the tent will "lean" towards one side. Its easy to "untangle" them and get the tent standing straight again. hth

thanks everyone/...thats the video i watched to learn to put it down it looks easy haha

but it is definately twisted but its too stiff to twist back into place it wont move help!

I have had fun!! with some pop up cubicles myself in the past ive wrestled with them and thought they were broke and would nt fold down then dawn has done it in seconds :cry: I have thankfully got the hang of it now
i am not sure which cubicle you have so i might be wrong on this, The one i think you have only folds one way once its flat ie egg shaped so you could be folding against the memory of the spring steel in the cubicle hence it feeling stiff flip it over and try going with the spring if that makes sense i have spent hours on the phone to people trying to explain it.
Hope you get it sorted its like riding a bike eventually something just clicks and its a doddle to erect and collapse

have a look at the video above its slightly different some models do fold differently :irked: hope it helps you
