Tan to cover scars?

This isn't a professional tanning question but one for my own personal use!
I have scars on my legs that when most tans are applied to, look awful! I have used Sally Hansen but I really don't like it, I feel caked when I use it!

Does anyone have any recommendations for I suppose what you'd call body foundation rather than sally Hansen? I've read reviews about the Vichy body correct,

Not quite the same but I have acne scarring. I don't find any tan covers them. The best thing I've found is Estée Lauder double wear foundation x

No spray tan will ever hide a scar it will probably only ever enhance it, the vichy dermablend is an awesome product when applied correctly so why not @mail them and ask for proper instructions or have a look on you tube xxx

I ordered the St Tropez leg spray to see what it is like, the scars are fading but tan generally makes them more prominent!! If the St Tropez doesn't do the job I'm definitely going to try the Vichy Dermablend,
