Tan where the bra strap goes?

Hey, I'm quite new to tanning. I sprayed my friend last night and after a wash there are tan marks where her bra strap would go. She didn' put a bra on after her tan. Does anyone know why this has happened?

Did she put on her bra later on in the day before washing of the tan?
Also if her bra was very tight it may have left marks on her skin, so when you strayed her, it could have left tram lines like these.

No she didn't put it on afterwards, she put pjs on and went home straight to bed.

Oh....the mark is mostly in the armpit area...just wondering if she still had the residue of a previous tan in that area which can be hard to scrub off or if the bra was tight as I mentioned earlier it could have left a mark on the skin.
