Hi
Ive been looking at tandare solution but have heard that it does not last as long as the other tantrick solutions. I am waiting on a sample to try it for myself but was wondering if anyone could tell me how they found it and how long it lasted etc. Thought it might be better to hear from people who have actually tried it so i have more to go on than just the one person i will sample it on?xxx

I get 10 days wear from Tantrick and 7 days wear from Tandare,
i moisturise everyday as this helps any spray tan to last longer, hth

do you think its worth paying the extra for the extra wear? i have had clients saying tantrick only lasted 5 to 7 days so im a little worried they may only get a few days from tandare and complain xx

Its all down to personal preference really,
if i can get away with it i use the essence of summer and autumn gold 99% of the time because i know it gives a great result and both the client and my salon smells delicious after,
it is definitely worth the extra.

Clients that don't get between 7 & 10 days wear from it are the ones that don't follow the aftercare advise,
so there skin sheds quicker than it would if it were regularly moisturised,
we do have to drill this into them but they do start to listen eventually

as i only trained 3 weeks ago i hadnt bought the EOS and AG as i like the fact i can see where im spraying. But once im more confident i will def be trying these. I dont know what it takes to get people to listen that they need to moisturise , they say they do but i dont think most of them do. Thats why im a bit unsure about tandare as thjose who dont listen may complain that they only got a few days but paid full price or worse still they complain to other people. Ill try my sample when it comes but to be honest i think i will stick with tantrick as the difference in price is only one tan really . Do you think its safe enough for me to boost 10% up to 14% when ive never tried the booster drops before?xx

Tandare solution will last as long if not longer than any other brand of solution on the market today..there is no difference....the longevity of tans(within a day or so) are variable from person to person, quality of application ,pre and post care regimes.etc

The only difference that Tandare has on our original solutions is the bells and whistles(anti cellulite ingredients etc) are not included ,has a darker undertone and made here in the UK making it the ideal salon workhorse solution.

ill give it a go when i get my sample. my sister would gladly let me try anything on her to see what its like but most she could take is 8% so that rules out tandare for her.
Would you say its ok to boost 10 up to 14?I have 10% tantrick just now.
Are you getting alot of good feedback on tandare?

Yep that would be fine 10 up to 14%.

yes it would be lol.when is going to be back in stock?

If Tandare lasts as long as any other solution, how come you get 10 days out of Tantrick and 7 days out of Tandare?

Does taking the 'bells and whistles' out like anti-cellulite ingredients, make it last not as long?

Basically you are saying that it is the same solution without some of the luxuries-yes?

OOhhh i don't get it!!!

There are three separate groups emanating from the 8 different solutions we produce.

4 x Tantrick original
2 x AG and EOS
2 x Tandare(MAX)

outside of each grouping they are all completely different from each other and carefully have been formulated for specific reasons, targeted at different group sets etc and have different manufacture/shipping costs associated to them.

Tantrick original /EOS and AG are our premium solutions and heavily fortified with added ingredients such as anti cellulite, penetrating ingredients and so on whereas the Tandare(MAX) solutions are targeted at a different mind set group, for those that want a darker tan outcome and want to pay less for their solution.

Just because the price point of the Tandare solution compared to the rest of the Tantrick solutions is considerably lower this doesn't mean that the tan is going to last any lesser of a time compared to those in the other two groups.

Indeed Tandare solutions are compatible with many of the main stream brands out there but for a lot less dollars.

HTH

Ok that clarifies things :)
Both solutions should last the same time?
How come Loubylou gets 7 days out of Tandare and 10 days out of Tantrick then? That's the bit i don't understand if it's basically the same solution.
Am i missing something?

sorry if it last 10 days you dont wash, not being rude but I know the products,

Its just sales hype I would say. yes you will get the odd 10 dayer, but you will get a lot of 5-6-7 dayers.

I have to agree really... I have been using Tantrick in my salon for 5 years now and I don't have any clients that can last more than 7 days... the majority are seeing 4 or 5 days with the full tan.

I love Tantrick and so do my clients that return time and again ... Not showering regularly will obviously retain the tan longer .. but most of my clients would be daily shower people hence the more realistic lasting of the tan for around 5 days. Even clients that do full prep, mosturise after each shower, pat dry etc etc ... can't get more than a week out of the tan.

I don't like EofS.. but the original Tantrick and Autumn Gold are quality tanning solutions.

I have not tried the new Tandare yet... although Collin kindly sent me a couple of samples. I am just not 'fancying' even more solution choices... I just feel, 'if it aint broke.. don't fix it'. Its all getting very confusing with all the different choices of solutions that are now available and I feel that having the cheaper Tandare undermines the original. I for one won't use the cheaper product, its just not my 'cup of tea'.

I have a very pale client which I just sprayed last week with 8%. I asked her how long her last tan lasted and she said brilliant it wsa only the last 3or4 days it disappeared and this was after for a fortnight. She said she moisturised day and night and she got a good 10or11 days from it. My sister is also very pale and i use 5%or8% on her and when she comes after a week to be resprayed she is still a bit tanned. So from what i have found the pale people seem to get longer? But that could be because any tiny bit of colour may be 'tanned' to them as they are so pale. I did have another client though who was quite tanned already from sunbeds and i sprayed her with 10% and she said it lasted over a week but dont know how much over.
However, i had a tantrick tan last week and it was great for 5 days then started going a bit funny on my arms so i had to exfoliate. Its now a week since and I still have an ok tan on my stomach , back and legs.

Someone had told me to use a moisturiser with a bit of a tan in it(the ones that build up) to get more out of it but my dove ran out after 2 days so cant comment lol.

If someone asks you ''how long will it last?'' what do you tell them?

Su...sorry but im now confused here LOL...your saying 5-6-7 and the odd 10 dayer..........so then whats being said cant be sales hype if your confirming up to 10 days yourself

The facts of the matter are that no matter what brand of solution the longevity of any sunless tan is simply based on a number of factors, age, skin condition, pre tan exfoliation, post tan care maintenance, quality of DHA used in the blending, additional additives that may assist, correct application of the tan itself etc etc.

It is further trialed, tested and proven that dependant upon these variations that a sunless tan can last between 0(for those that simply have no reaction) up to 10 days as probably the realistic limit.

HTH

Is dove moisturiser the same ph level as the soap?
I advise clients not to use dove soap so was wondering if the moisturiser might have the same effect and maybe that's why it has gone a bit patchy.

I used the dove with a fake bake tan a few weeks ago and used palmers cocoa butter with the tantrick one. I think the patchyness was maybe where id sweated at night cos i fold my arms up lol and thats the only place where it was. Im not sure about the ph level of the build up tan dove. It was a girl that does spray tans that told me that.
I saw on a website but cant remember what one that you can add booster drops to your own moisturiser to create your own one that will enhance our tan xx

Yes i moisturise twice a day when wearing a spray tan it works wonders for getting it to last,
(yes i do shower every day too lol)
also sometimes i use the tan extending lotion,
i had a spray tan about 2 weeks ago and have been using the tan extender every day and i still have a pale tan, think its more from the tan extender than the spray though at this point, hth
