Tanning - Does anyone know?

Hi all

I use fake bake tanning products at the mo.

I know that use of some medication affects the tanning process....

BUT does anyone know whether ANTIBIOTICS affect the development and quality of the tan??? Would really like to know. Ta.

Yes I think it does my lovely!!

Not sure in what way but I'm sure I remember in my training that the tutor said that different medication can effect the development of the tan!!!

Yes there are a number of medicines which can affect a tan including antibiotics, birth control pill, HRT. There is no list available specifically listing the medication which does or does not have any affect but I would suggest to your clients if they are on medication, it may well be a reason a tan may not take too well.
