I've been using a brand of tan for a while now and am considering changing as we're not as happy with it, I dont know if they have changed the formulation etc, but its raising some doubts. I started off with Fantasy Tan and then the distribution changed or something and we changed to what we have now. There are different shades available and we tend to work mostly with two and they blend well. However I did a particular blend on a client last week (she wanted to look healthy with a hint of a tan), she came in for a different treatment the following day and she looked much darker than I expected bearing in mind she's fair and I used the lightest shade. She was happy with it but to my eye she was bordering orange. Can anyone suggest a few companies please? Am also looking for one that has some retail products too. I have worked with the Fake Bake cream application before but it didnt take off at the time because everyone was used to our spray!

Many thanks in advance

Funny that you say this about a make of tan you have been using and are now not so happy with it, I am in the same situation, I have been a die hard Sienna fan for a long time but I have recently tried LA Tan, to be completly honest with you I thought I wouldnt be impressed, don't ask me why but I think it was the price ie: you pay for what you get, however, I was SO wrong, the colour is brilliant, I have tried it on a regular client who usually has a 10% Sienna and I used 12% LA and she loves it and now want's LA instead from now on, I suppose it's horses for courses but I would say try some other solutions and see what you think. :D

I use Urban Tan, it is a great range and gives fantastic colour, it also fades well and is totally odourless, you can add aromatherapy scents to the solution if your client wants a nice smell which you can also buy from the company.;)

do a search hun, loads of threads about this subject!! xxx:D

I've used it for about 2-3yrs and all was fine, but lately we've had comments verging on the negative side, we've always been known for our spray tans but our regulars are making comments. We also have clients that only come to us for their tans every year and one or two of those havent been happy too.

Thanks for all your comments guys, will have a look at those threads. Am kind of impatient so I dont always go back through past posts!
