Hi i have a full body tan tomorrow i just wanted to ask a quick question about how other st Tropez therapists apply tan to the knees.
Ive been on the self tan classic lotion application training course twice and both times has been different so it hasnt been very helpful lol the once time i did it i was in college we exfoliated, moisturized the knees then applied 7 pumps over the top thigh and lower part of the leg stopping and the ankle we missed the knee area then went back up and slided over the knee once the tan had emulsified abit.

However the 2nd time i did it we again exfoliated, mostorized but this time applied 4 pumps to the upper thigh area slided over the knee and then applied a fewpumps to lower part of the leg so it was more seperate instead of spreading the tan all over then going back to the knee.
I know the knee area is one of those area then tend to grab onto the tan so i wanted to make sure i do it the best way possible as my client is going on holiday on saturday so we want her looking her best lol
any advice would be much apreciated thankyou

On the knee, you put more lotion so that you can see it sitting on the knee. That way, when you put the tanning lotion on, you blend it in and it doesn't grab the dry skin and go streaky. xxx

i do allready apply the mosturizing lotion to the knees and not rub it in so you think it would be ok to go from the thigh to the knee as long as lotion is on and not worry about going back up the knee afterwards

The important thing to remember is that it's fine to overlap but never leave gaps. The overlapping doesn't make it patch, it's the gaps that do. Yes, it sounds fine. xxx

ok then Kim thankyou makes me feel better about tomorrow now
