Hi everyone!

Im really, seriously interested in setting up my own mobile tanning business, i have loads of ideas and have done some research, but all i keep coming across are franchise companies, i want to do this in my own right!

I would really really really appreciate anyone out there who can give me a any deatils of courses/equipment, stockists of product/costs of set up/type of insurance and things like that, that will help me get together a better idea of what im in for!

I may sound abit silly asking this, but id love to hear a realistic view on this from someones whos been there and got the tee!!

Thanks guys!! xxxx

Hi Loobie
I believe that if you pop in tanning in the search box along the top you should come up with a heap of info that will help you.

Alot of these companies do training and will give you advice on setting up what your looking for

Here's a link for you
www.wowproducts.co.uk

these are not a franchise and offer training, kits, solutions and ongoing support if you want it,
once trained it would be your own business hth

Hello and welcome :green:

You could have a look at www.sienna-x.co.uk they have kits on there and offer training too. They are not a franchise you can work freelance as I do. As for insurance I get mine from Salon Gold and it costs around 45 pounds a year so that isn't bad, covers me for mobile work too.

Once you have your kit and insurance there isn't really anything else to lay out for and after a bit of practise you can start earning straight away! :green:

Good Luck

Thanks guys for all that...i think i am going to go with Sienna X now...heres a question, do you get your customers to sogn any kid of declaration form incase they have a reaction to the product? or has anyonme had any experiance of the customers skin reacting with the product??

It should all be on your client record cards hun,
if your worried offer them a patch test 24 hrs before, i have never had a client react badly to any of the tantrick solutions,
i have had clients react to other solution, they had really bad dry itchy skin after the tan so not a really bad reaction,
some can be very bad but it is very rare.
