Hello I'm looking to have hair extensions and can't decide between vixen and blush or tatianna .Has anybody used either salon or both and which one do you think is best thanks

If your willing to travel, the hair extension boutique in Manchester, knutsford id recommended !! And they have just won hair extension specialist of the year 2016 X

Thanks but Manchester is a bit far for me to go x

Hi Amy7979 I have been to both salons and I am telling you that Vixen & Blush is by far the better salon. I went to Tatianas 2 years ago and I was happy at the time with my hair. I got a full head of 20 inches and I thought it looked good. I now look back at photos and am so embarrassed as it literally looks like there's a wig on my head! They don't cut the hair in properly and what I didn't realise is that too much hair in might look good when your in the salon but once you actually try to style it it just looks fake. I also didn't find the salon that friendly or approachable and felt a bit like a number. I went back for a refit but after that I started to look around again and found Vixen & Blush. I am now soooooooo happy I did! I have been going there for more than a year now and they are the nicest girls! Any problems I have had have been sorted out and I feel that I can call them and ask them for help anytime. Like, for example, I had 10 pieces come out when I went on holiday at Christmas and I was freaking out. I called the salon and was seen the same day and they put them in and it was no fuss.. It was totally my fault that they came out and I got advice on shampoo etc. I have a 3/4 head of 18 inches now and have had a couple of colour changes and I honestly am so impressed with the work. The hair is better at Vixen as well. The hair I had at Tatiana's was a bit frizzy and thin on the ends. I had to style it way more and that took me a lot of time. I think it is a way better salon and it is much cheaper too.

That's why you should always choose a professional hairdresser. looks like the job was done by a one day course specialist. I see jobs done by them daily, poor colour match, wrong texture, zero blending, bad quality hair etc

I completely agree with this... I worked for a major hair extension brand in London and majority of technicians had zero experience with hair. There are to many 1 day courses for ppl who just want to make extra money but have no clue on the structure of hair or how to finish off the look... Defo choose some one who has plenty of experience cutting extensions and how they should be properly blended

This is why I'm so shocked vixon and blush are supposed to be one of the best in London and reviews and pics are amazing .But this is what I ended up with for 700 pound and 6 hours in the salon [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30]x

Worse set I've had in my life and had them for 10 years x

Suppose the only way of telling is to ask for qualifications etc before letting them do you your which could be a bit embarrassing x

Sometimes the smaller salons are much more worth it, I know a lot of the big companies as soon as they get well known their quality goes downhill.. Have you been back to complain? Don't feel embarrassed £700 is a lot of money to spend on something your not happy with, if they are genuinely all for customer service they will rectify the problem

I'd never let anyone walk out of my salon without being blended properly... Whether that want it or not.. It's my reputation on the line!!
