hi guys

I want to be able to give my clients a cup and a tea pot rather than just giving them a mug or cup of tea, at least this way it looks better and allows them to pour their tea how they like it.

I was wondering if anyone used any thing for the above or if anyone can suggest something/somewhere to try hope someone can help x

I am given a little tray with cup & saucer, teapot, spoon, sugar and milk pot when I am at my hairdressers....I love it!

In my studio I have a Kenco Tassimo machine with lots of varieties of drink...I mainly do spray tanning so this is a quicker option for a quicker treatment.

I really love the idea of a little tea pot, no idea where to get them but i'm sure another geek will be able to help out!

xx

What about the teap pots that are big enough for just one cup that sit on top of the cup so you could bring it out on a tray with cup on top of pot, then just give them the small sugar dish. I have seen these in my local hardware/cookshop which I have to admit do sell evrything, try tescos and try ikea and try department stores, otherwise gauzzini do a fab colourful but expensive range which have their own teaspoon cup and saucer in amazing colours. Or type in on google teapot with cup sets. X

In Ireland Dunnes Stores do a great range of all white kitchen stuff. I got a little teapot (holds about a cup and a half), milk jug and sugar bowl for only a few € each.

Whatever you get, buy one and test it first - there's nothing worse than a teapot or milk jug that drips / leaks when you pour it. You want it to be a pampering experience for the client - not a messy one.

I get Nescafe Espresso coffee - expensive but makes a fab cup of coffe and a fab smell in the salon.

Ah this is a lovely idea.

What treatments do you offer?
Would you offer tea/coffee to all clients?
What about if clients are having a manicure, waxing lashes done etc.
Would you offer this maybe during a pedicure on one client but after another clients tretments or before they go into the treatment room?

I only ask all the above as if offering tea/coffees its only the pedicure clients I would offer this too, as while they are soaking I can quickly pop to the kitchen & make it for them.

Jenny - the whole tray of tea for one sounds lovely, & sounds like something a very high end hairdressers would offer, great idea!

Love Emma x:hug:x

The only tea for one sets i can find are about £10-£20 each. I love the idea of them but jsut want plain white and hopefully with a little tray to match.
I jus thave the idea of taking the little tea pot tray sugar and milk jug over to the client, just think it is better than giving them a mug or little cup and sauser

I am going to get some mugs made from vistaprint with my logo, details threatments etc on them - how about that idea:idea:
That way its a little bit different & advertising as well!

Have you been given the cup, tea pot tray thing anywhere yourself that gave you this idea?
As if you did thought it might be worth asking them where they got theirs from.

I always offer my clients a drink and if its a tea they get a small teapot a cup and saucer on a tray, sugar sachets, mini milk jug and a biscuit. And same for coffee.

I really think its a nice touch that clients love and feel pampered!

All items were bought from ikea and macro is great for sugar sachets and biscuits (rioba caramel ones) yum.

:)

we use tea pots in the salon i work in and also for coffee them cafetiere things you can get them from asda an places but the coffee from anywhere i think, the clients love it, but obviously takes longer our junior does them so its ok for us dont no if this would take to long for you? :)

For both tea and coffee, I use the larger herbal tea mugs that come with the tea bag strainer AND..... a LID (to keep dust and whatnot out of their beverage).

Something like this. The strainer allows them to do their tea as they like, removing tea bag when ready. And lid keeps things nice and warm and dust free.

Wow I love these.

When I first opened up my doors 'professionally', I bought 4 right off the bat. Clients LOVE them.
And as I said.. tea/coffee stays warmer longer... so if the client's hands are trapped for a while, when they finally get to take a sip, it hasn't gone cold.

Hey try in TK maxx i brought mine in there i got it just because it was a tea for one with cherries on and i thought it was pretty think it was £4.99 only trouble with buying from there is the dont always have 4 of the same or even 2 of the same but may be worth a try xxx

Very nice I notice they do matching trays and mugs for coffee too
x

If anyone is near a home bargains shop, they are selling the teapot and cup that sit on top of each other including a spoon for £2.99, thought this was great value they also had mugs and a matching wee tray, but can't remember the cost.
