i have been asked if i could host a pyjama party for 4 girls aged 12-13
im a mua and have also recently trained in manicure
i was think of offering mini facial - cleanse, tone and moisturise, mini manicure with some simple nail art and just paint the toe nails (not yet trained in pedicure) do you think this sounds ok?
i have 2 footbaths, but not sure where i stand with insurance - and do i have to have them pat tested etc ..
dont really want to apply make up after mini facial, and also not worth it for such a late party - 6 oc (or perhaps i should offer makeup and ditch the facial? just thought the later would be more pampering and could also offer some skin care advice)
i would appreciate any advice re: pyjama parties - this will be my first one, help !!
oh and i plan to bring along some girls magazines, dont really want to start providing karaoke, dance mats etc .. not sure if this is something i want to do yet, so not wanting to start making big investments

When I was 12/13 I was much much much more interested in make up than facials! I would also have been very into the idea of a manicure. In terms of insurance for the pedicure bit, if you aren't qualified I would check although possibly just painting toe nails would be ok.

Make sure you have written permission from parents too for everything.

Good luck and have fun!

thanks for the advice .. i guess so, i just thought with it being a pyjama party was not really ideal to be applying makeup

think i'll out together a small selection of parties and give her the choice

really keen to do the makeup parties, just not sure about the pampering side

thanks blush09

you could also do them some sort of cocktails maybe? get a bottle of lemonade and dye it blue or pink and a cherry on a stick in a plastic re-useable cocktail glass (that you take away with you) bet they would feel special then! lol

You could maybe offer them some sort of body art tattoo? I've seen these really nice sparkly ones made up of diamontes, not sure how much they are but i don't suppose they are too bad.

When I used to do this sort of thing I would get together with a fellow geek, half the money but half the stress too!!
