well 2 of my specials for March I've put on a hand treat and a feet treat. got first booking for it tomorrow so just been to shop and got the thai mani and pedi range.

It consists of soak, exfoliation, mask and massage. all look yummy.

anyone using them and have a nice routine to go with it?

The salon systems one? not used the foot, but have got the hand stuff.
I really like the hand scrub, BUT IMO the mask feels squeaky on the skin and Its too runny. smells nice though. And the 'Massage' lotion is the same. But again smells gorgeous, and has a shimmer to it. So i now have it in my bathroom and use it as a body lotion lol.

Its nice to do a shoulder / arm massage with the hand treatment. while the mask is on, work on the shoulders.

x

yes, the salon systems ones.
was going to buy the mani and use for both feet and hands, but decided to go for it and buy the whole range.

thanks for the suggestions.

I've just given myself a Thai manicure using the products and my skin feels really nice, and I do like the slight shimmer that the massage lotion leaves, it makes your hands look really yummy.

couple of ideas have sprung to mind:

1. hand soak
2. take one hand out, exfoliate then replace in water. repeat other hand.
3. gently rinse and pat dry.
4. liberally apply mask, wrap in film, then place in a warm mitt (I will use my normal towelling mitts but heat them dry in the cabi. wrap in warm towel (dry from cabi with a drop of bergamot oil).
5. if client wishes, apply a brief shouder massage (they will have a towel around them if they have agreed to this) using the massage lotion.
6. remove mask, rinse and pat dry.
7. cuticle oil massaged lightly in.
8. commence with hand and arm massage.
9. file nails, cuticle remover.
10.clean nails for varnish if applicable.

Can anyone see anything wrong with this sequence or add on to it?

Yes I Use The Manicure Range , Love The Smell
Love The Scrub And Massage Lotion But Not Using The Mask Yet But Am Going To Get That On Monday ,
The Smell Is Divine :)

it is nicer for the client to do it while they lay down, and use mitts to remove product. :green:

you could even do a cleanse and exfoliate on their skin, cross sell them a full facial, while their hand mask is on.

imagine how nice it would be, with an eye pillow so they dont have to pay attention, they can just drift off!

looovely!!

I could see the sense in that for the foot treatment as in soak and scrub seated, then rest lying on bed.

But think for manicure it would make more sense to do a seated massage for shoulders.

Going to try the foot products next.

have to say i do the love the foot stuff , the mask and the scrub are lovely :green: i only got em after smelling my mates when she had got them ,
your sequence seems great hun xx

each tot heir own, but personally, i wouldn't want a shoulder massage seated. I would rather be lying down sinking into the couch, drifting away.

thanks for that.

I still haven't got the energy to get the foot stuff out of the bag. I think its because I know I haven't got a bowl big enough for my feet for the foot soak.

would you change the sequence much for the foot treatment compared to the hand treatment?

washing up bowl mate!! lol.

don't possess one!
have got a foot spa but don't want the scrub to get into the motor.

ahh what the hell! going to get it downstairs and ruddy well give myself a pedi

dont have a washing up bowl? lol. i thought eeevery house had one?!

Sit on the side of the bath to soak!! OR, give them a scrub, rinse it off in the shower, then soak them. seems a bit of a mission tho !!

u need a less fancy foot spa!! :green:

done it!

although then had to refill it for hub then refill it for son!

liked the foot products more than the hand products.
