I am interested in doing a massage course and have come across Thai massage.

Does anyone offer this and if so how does it differ to swedish or aromatherapy?

I realise there is a lot to learn hence the price of the course, but do you geeks find it a popular service especially mobile?

Lastly, does anyone recommend a good course in East Sussex lasting around 5 days as I dont have the time to do a college course or the patience to do one that is spread out over so many weeks:D

Hi Michelle,

traditional Thai massage is performed on the floor so you would need a futon mattress, it involves stretching of the limbs almost like passive yoga, with specific pressure points akin to shiatsu.

But, there are a number of off-shots to this. I have seen a Table Thai massage course advertised which I am quite interested in, mainly offered in Brighton and London.

I do a Thai seated massage and I also do Thai foot massage, neither are very popular with my clients who seem to prefer swedish massage with deep tissue.

I would go into a search engine and play around with wording to find out what you are after.

Thanks for that.
Oh, on the floor with a futon mattress-this is not what I had in mind.
I will look into swedish massage.
Thanks again
