It was 7am this morning and I was due in the Creative Academy at Manchester at 10am. I'm on the foundation course and day 3 today was to attend with a model and complete our first full set. But low and behold Janey had no model!!!

As I was browsing across the site, I looked to see who was online and found Julia from Altrincham of Manchester was also browsing. After a quick private message Julie agreed to come along and be my model and she turned up at 10am at the Academy.

First of all thank you very much to Julie for rearranging your day and doing me a big big favour and secondly thanks to salongeek because if it wasn't for this site I wouldn't have had a model.

I'll be posting the pics of julie's nails in critique later tonight so please feel free to have a look at my first set of creative l&p pink and white set. Please be gentle though!!!

Well done to Julie for coming to your rescue.

It's a bit like that song from the AA ad on tv .... "You've Got a Friend".

Look forward to seeing the pix.

AND VERY NICE MY NAILS ARE TOO, SO THANKS TO YOU TOO!! They look much better in the flesh than on piccies.

I even managed a half leg sugar client this afternoon without ripping one of them off - BONUS!

BTW Janey, my diary is booked out now for the afternoon of 28th June for my rebalance. Look forward to seeing you again then.

Thanks Ju, see you on the 28th, hope the rebalance is easier!!

oh glad you got sorted hun, dont you just love this site, where would we be without it?

All turned out well in the end!
