Hey everyone =)

My current status: Total newbie to waxing and due to take a course in a couple of weeks. I'm so excited :)

I recently bought a Salon System "Just Wax" compact heater kit whilst my local Sally's store was having a VAT free day (a rare occasion which one must always take advantage of), but I'm now wondering if I would be better off returning it and purchasing the single Babyliss heater kit instead.

I haven't been able to find any reviews on either of these heaters, so I thought who better to ask than all you experienced geeks out there. Which is the better single heater? Salon System or Babyliss?

Thankyou x

TO be honest i would have thought the heater makes much difference to a newbie. The wax you use IN it of course will but just as you brought the Salon System heater dosnt mean you have to use their wax. Others will fit in no problem.

If you got a bargain then great. I would stick with what you have. Maybe later when you are getting a ton of business and need the heater on everyday or maybe need two heaters running at the same time then i would look at something else but for now your heater will do a grand job.

Good luck with the course. I loved dong mine. x

Hi,
I use the Salon Systems wax heater every day and I like it.
It's easy to regulate, easy to clean and 'does what it says on the box'.
I've also got a Babyliss heater as a back-up for when I need 2 pots of wax heated simultaneously (for a BIG waxing job !)
The Salon System heater is quicker to heat up from cold than the Babyliss one.
I'd keep it if I were you.
HTHs.

Thankyou both for the replies
I think I'll take the advice and keep the Salon System kit
Thanks again x
