The Complete Nail Technician by Marian Newman is it worth getting?

I have seen this book on certain websites advertised and advertised towards the NVQ student but wondering is it worth getting for anyone?

I want to get Geeg's book and intend to do so next month but wondered also about Marian Newman's book. Any thoughts?

Great Book, this book as helped me with my city and guilds manicure and pedicure course ( distinctions in all but one of my assignments which was a merit) so definitely a YES xxxx

I would also strongly recommend Nail Structure & Product Chemistry by Doug Schoon

Hang your head low and feel ashamed you havent read this book! hehe only joking...all of marian newmans books are fantastic...I would also strongly recommend douglas schoon nail structure and product chemistry..absolutely brilliant book...you will really learn so much from that book ..and nailclass is great too.

totally agree here i couldnt of said it better.
its an excellent book and was the first book i bought when i was learning at college and even after 4yrs i still use it now.xxx

If I remember rightly they'll both be at Olympia so you will be able to get both books signed and receive two mahoosive geeky stylie hugs into the bargain :green:

I ordered both of these books today do you reckon I could get mine signed too :lol: Both came with good recommendations....Can't wait to get reading

I already have Marion's book it's absolutely invaluable! And I just literally bought Douglas Schoon's book from Amazon. I got it for £20, bargain! Just have to wait for it to be delivered now :irked:, they should be on a download :green:

I'll have to wait until Gigi's book comes in stock and then the good people at Amazon will ship it to me, so then I'll feel like I have all 3 in my front room, lol!
