One of my friends from school has decided to train as a Nail Technician and has booked a training course with The EDGE Nails, I'd not really heard much about them and if they were good or not.

Just wondering what the general opinion was on them.

Hi there

Their products are sold at places like Capital and Sallys - they are what I would call a good basic brand. No frills kind of products, if you know what I mean. They are at the cheaper/ middle range as far as cost is concerned.

I have bought their nail buffers and have to say they were good quality and very reasonably priced. As far as training is concerned I could not comment.

hth a bit xxx

I used The Edge at college, I agree with above poster they are a good basic brand and can be bought easily. Not had any training with them, but personally I rate their products higher than Millennium and IBD :)

I don't know anything about their training, but I've used their tips and buffers and liked them. :)

Just been on their website, like the colourful approach, packaging looks quite contempory, though I will be sticking with what I know but the nail art stuff looks good I may well invest in a bit of arty stuff from them!!

I use their fibreglass/silk wrap systems and their nail art paints and I think they are really good, best I have used (but I am only trainee and not used many 'good' brands)

I have used ka sa ra (i think that was the name of it) nail art paint and i hated it

Where's she doing her training?

I live 5 minutes away from The Edge and I go in occasionally to pick up bits and one day I got talking to the lady in there.
I was discussing some lifting problems I had and she showed me there and then what I should be doing for the correct prep.
I found out afterwards she was the trainer, she was very helpful.

I don't know much about their education but I have used both their L & P and their soak off gel and didn't think much to it, better than millennium but not the best
