The Gel Bottle Trouble With Polish

I feel like I’ve been posting a lot on here recently!
Does anyone else notice that with the LIGHT colours only, it can leave black dots on some nails? I have to do top coat, buff, then re apply colour coat and top coat.
It doesn’t happen with any darker colours

Could the black dots be part of the brush beginning to deteriorate and deposit itself onto the nail? Obviously will not be noticeable on darker colours.
Likewise my gel bottles are black (don't know what yours are) so could it be the coating from the bottle around the lid where there would be more wear? Just my thoughts.
