Hi fellow geeks
Can peeps give me their opinion on what they consider the best eyelash glue for extensions.
I have the glue I trained with and feel ready to move on to a fast setting glue and I'm looking for one with low fumes and that won't go hard too quickly in the pot.
Anyone care to recommend one???
Thanks
Heather

With all adhesives you have the problem that the faster setting they are the more fumes and odour you are going to have which can be very uncomfortable for your client and also for you working with it. So there is a fine line to find an adhesive that is safe (and is safety tested for sale and use in the UK) and yet relative quick drying.

The other thing you mention is the shelf life which seems to range from 3 up to 9 months, the longer the shelf life the better it is obviously for you as you dont want to have to replace the adhesive too quickly.

Have a look around salongeek as there has been a few threads already, concerning the different adhesives and it might give you an idea which ones you would like to try for yourself?

for me personally im very happy with my glue which is the flirties glue, it has the long shelf life, quite fast drying and i havent noticed any fumes nor have my clients, everyone has their own opinions on the glues but like wowbb says do a search on glues and im sure there are loads of threads. i think you have to try them to make your own choice though x

I too like flirties adhesive,
it dries quickly with no fumes and has a 9 month shelf life, i have had mine for about 7 months now and it is as good now as the day i got it,
it is nice and thin too not gloopy, so it goes a long way :wink2:

Personaly, for me, and after trying what feels like a million adhesives, I like the x-press adhesive from I-Lash. It has a very quick flash time, nice thin consistency, no fumes and excellent bond. The shelf life is 3 months from opening, but to be honest that dosent really come into play as I get through it in less than 3 months! My advice would be to try a few and see what works for YOU. We all like differant things in adhesives. Good luck x

Lash bond is a great glue, we have recently switched to it.
