Just decided to give away 25% off discount as Gift Cards.

Planning offer for Love one only, not regular rebooking clients. Worry the sale gets crushed next months.

Any other ideas for promotions?

We offer clients an extra 20% on the value of their gift cards if they use them during January/February as these are our quiet months.
Do packages with your products to encourage them to buy more so; Buy three products save £X

I’d be wary of upsetting regulars if your offers exclude them.

I'll be honest here... I would never do an offer on gift vouchers at Christmas as this is the one time of the year where people will happily purchase at full price!

If you are looking to bring in more income / new clients, then run promotions where the client is getting added value on their beauty service. Then you can offer this fairly to both new and existing clients.

For example Criso, (it looks like you specialise in waxing), you could offer a free leg exfoliation treatment prior to their waxing or another way you could go is to give a free after wax lotion with every full leg & bikini wax treatment. Things that won't cost you much to do but makes it special for the client and probably better than other local salons.

I'm sure you have lots of ideas...

I agree with CFBS, its always better to give value than a discount and it also costs you more.
Try a "bring a friend" or "try a treatment at X" etc, that way you can convert clients to new treatments or gain new clients through word of mouth and it will win you loyal clients instead of bargain hunters if that makes sense?

Well said it
Good point you have.
Slow months is where we need more volume of clientele.

Thank you so much.

I agree, already have Bring a Friend Promotions
The goal here is impact clients to get services in January.

Besides being cold weather in New York is right after the big holidays too

I do have the Advance Waxing School and Selling the Painless Wax for the Lowest Cost but the volume of clientele could be lessened and we will keep 7 days a week open.

What about you ? Still open daily during winter? Thinking to shorten the hours this year too. Cristina

They don't get any discount on the voucher when they buy it, I just make them aware that they will receive an extra 20% on the value if they use it during Jan/Feb as these are usually slow months where we have lots of gaps, I don't want them using the vouchers later in the year when we're booked up :) Works for us but I agree, trying to add value is a better way :)
