I am just wondering if anyone has ever ordered from this company in the UK. How have you found them they seem very cheap for good products? I am wanting to do an order but dont want to just incase they are not a good company to buy from. Ijust dont see how they can sell these products so cheaply. Thanks in advance for any information
Hayley

Anybody heard of them? xx

Are you talking about the premier nail source as in the one from USA??

Yer thats the one.x

products cost less in the usa because they are often manufactured there, so there are much lower costs getting them to the company thats selling them.

by the time you pay for the shipping which costs a fair bit especially if you are bringing over hazardous chemicals and then when it gets to the u.k customs add on import tax and vat, it all starts to add up and wont be such a bargain.
then think of the fact that if something is not what you expected for some reason you have to pay to send it back to the usa.

its a risk, you might not be any better off and it may not be money well spent. its up to you as to whether you think its too much of a gamble.

Yes thats true i was just wanting some more of my products i already head and thought thats alot cheaper. Supose i could see how much the postage and all that cost but its products ill of used before. Thank you for your reply xxx

i can totally understand where you are coming from.

its suprising to us how much less usa techs pay for things but when you add up the costs that our u.k distributors incurr just bringing the product into the country, then is easier to understand why theres a difference.

a lot of the time usa companies will give out free samples, but in u.k this doesnt often happen and its little wonder when we see how much it works out for the u.k importers. not only do they loose the cost of the product, they loose all the money they paid to get it here and then all the duty and vat and postage too!

Yes alot less. Its quite annoying really but o well i have asked them how much ontop of the cost of the product i shall be expecting to pay for delivery. I just want some of the cucio products to top me up.

I don't live in the UK, but I order from them and it's FANTASTIC.

They really took the time to make sure my fragile stuff was secure and everything was exactly as I thought it would be! If the shipping isn't too horrendous, you should absolutely order from them!

cuccio is available in the uk at low cost to techs just contact them direct.

Guys, I know money is tight right now and we are all looking to save costs - but please do think about supporting your local supplier.

These are the people who pay enormous amounts to attend shows, and pay for adverts so you have a local nail magazine - many countries don't. Plus they invest in an infrastructure so you have local training and support.

I don't live or sell in the UK, so I have no axe to grind - but as a businessman I do understand consequences.

cuccio are based in the uk honey. just google them?

O are they i hadnt realised. I thought they were American as on the training dvd hes american and the website that i registered to was all American currency??? I wll look into this. Thanks

We are an American company but we have a sales and distribution office in the UK.

in fact if you call 0115 975 3656 for cuccio. we use their products for our luxury pedi and mani ranges, their t3 colour gels and cava root foot product and are very happy with them. sales and aftercare is excellent too.

Ok excellent thanks you guys. Much appreciated xxxx

as well as wondering how Companies can sell products so cheaply, has anyone ever wondered how Companies can sell products much more expensiveley?
As well as quality which most products have anway, theres advertising and marketing costs to pay for.
Some Companies do not spend much on this and so are not as well known but are still good quality, some Companies spend thousands or even millions and someone has to pay for this. Probably us.
So, maybe 'cos a product is cheaper, does this mean possibly the Company or product is not as good. I don't beleive so myself.

yes there's advertising etc, but all companies have that (even the small ones otherwise we wouldn't know them:D)

I think the main reason I wanna invest in the well known and proven brands and pay more is that they put a lot of money into research and further developing of the products.

EG. CND yes they seem to cost a bit more, but if you break the service down it's only a few pennies, but what I get is a company that have taken the time and money to develop products that lasts and look good.

They invest money in training (Free training nights for the rest of my nail career seems to be more important to me than saving a few quid on a pot of acrylic powder) and if I buy the big sizes I haven't seen it cheaper anywhere...

And to top it of they invest in further development of new products, priceless to me as I like the option of bringing in something new all the time.

And the fact that some of the more generic brands comes from same factory, just labeled differently, just doesn't do it for me.

So heck yes I wanna spend my money on these products, and I love when clients come to me because I use this brand, and advertising products means more retail for me, and advertising pro products means more business for me....

That's why I spend more... (and believe me I have tried cheaper and it doesn't live up to my expectations)

Many clients may go to someone 'cos they are good, possibly not necessarily due to brands used. Some clients may go for brands, some go for good nails and service and don't know brands.
Maybe if cheaper priced brands didn't perform very well, then those Companies would probably go out of business.
Very often good nails can be possibly down to experience.
