Hiya

I would like to know what ya all charge for a manicure. I am considering putting my prices up but i am worried about outpricing myself. At the moment i charge extra for polish and parrafin, this is based on a manicure using solar products. Which manicure products do you all use??

My manicure prices start at £10 plus £3 for varnishing and from £5 for airbrushing then I do solar drench at £12 plus extras and Spa Mani at £14 plus extras.

Hi Tracy

Ive not started manicures yet but the lady who does mine (in Hampshire) charges as follows:

mini manicure £12.50 30 mins
- nail shaping, cuticle treatment, hand and arm massage
manicure £16.00 45 mins
- mini manicure plus application of polish
french manicure £20.50 50 mins
- mini manicure plus white tip and natural nail colour
deluxe manicure £24.50 1hr 15 mins
- full manicure plus warming and soothing paraffin wax treatment

hope this helps.

Hi Tracy!

My Hand Treatments run-down looks like this:

Polish Only - 5.00 pounds sterling
File and Polish - 8.00 p.s.
Classic Manicure - 14.00 p.s.
Qtica Luxury Manicure - 16.00 p.s. (including full exfoliation and intensive moisturiser)
Qtica Smart Spa Manicure - 23.00 p.s. (including full exfoliation, white tea moisture mask & heated mitts)

*All of the above include a choice of OPI polish, French or American Manicure.

I would definitely add extra for paraffin wax or warm oil treatments though.

[Amazing how prices vary so much.
I am in process of getting final touches on my nail bar sorted ie prices.
mine are planned to be

Shape and varnish £6.00 - £8.00

Mini mani £10.00 -£12.00

Mani £15.00

Treatment Mani £20-25
Thought if prices at higher end can offer more offers to clients. What do you think?

Hi Clare

I would think carefully about your pricing for example

express manicure including polish £10 maybe??
Full manicure £15
Spa or treatment £20

????

just a thought.

it amazes me how much it costs in other places to have treatments done, but then i live in a small town on the east coast.

im currently putting my prices up

£13 solar manicure
£15 spa manicure
£16 raw eartch pedicure
£18 spa pedicure

also was thinking of doing a special- book spa mani and pedi- get it for £30 with free mini cucumber heel therapy and mini solar butter

i hope this will be ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what do you guys think??

please:confused:

xxxx

Hi

The prices sound good to me although you might want to charge £20 for a spa pedi. I think the £30 off is good value but i would only include on free gift they are already saving £3 on your offer. Its a great way of promoting your retail side. we have a similar offer running at the moment in the salon.

maybe i could let them choose between the 2

thanks:D

Treatments are sooo much more expensive at my end, South East.

File and Polish £6
File polish and cuticle work £10
Above inc arm massage £15
Then they go up to £25 for a luxury one paraffin or one of those....

Could someone translate the pounds to American $$? Or explain how I could do it myself?

You just multiply the £ by what the $ rate is. So, as a rough guide, say the rate was $1.80 to the £1.00. If a price £8, you go 8 X $1.80= $14.40

Hope that helps ya. xxx
