Hey guys i understand that we are not to advertise prices as such, so if possible can anyone pm on what they would price minx on hands and minx on feet at? I have been doing them for some time but when first started wanted some confidence as such...

I have looked at my local area and what other places price and they are a lot higher than me :/ which is really starting to worry me
Therefore i wouldn't mind the advice please!! i really do not want to be underselling a fantastic product!
And also do your prices vary from finger and toes!?
Help is much appreciated!

Hi I charge £25 for a Minx manicure and £28 for a Minx pedicure.
If someone wants to add minx on after another treatment I charge £15.

and do you find people are willing to pay out for that for Minx?
And do you supply anything else for fingers to help prolong it? Say for instencce shellac?

oh yeah and thanks for your quick response

My clients love Minx so much and know they get a pretty good deal as the last for up to 6 weeks if not longer on toes so are more than happy to pay.
I dont do many Minx manicures I really only do them for special occasions.

I dont offer any kind of top coat at all over Minx I dont see the point in complicating a fantastic service.

I generally only do Minx toes - that's just the way things have worked out. Anyhoo... Cut and/or shape nails + cuticle work + Minx application = £25. More if a full pedi is required. x

Mind is made up i will increase my Minx prices :D

This is how i price my treatments :)

I work out how many sets i can get out of one pack of minx
the cost of minx divided by 2 (which is more than realistic, though i know some techs can get about 3?)...

I then think of cost of any other products i use.. etc..

Then i work out what i realisticly would make from a treatment... after paying my commision which is 25%

and i consider time as i have a minimum amount i like to charge for time.

I work the costs out for every single treatment i do, even an eyebrow wax!
This gives me an idea of what i am actually earning/ taking home... and i havent even been taxed on that yet lol!

Its difficult when places price war! its fustrating and annoying :(

the salon round the corner charges $10 less than i do (pound sign will not work)
Im happy with what i do for this service! Minx is a revolutionary product and has really made a mark... it deserves a good mark up i think personaly :)

i appoligies for the essay lol... its just how i do things and thought i would share this with you :) x

I charge £25 for fingers or toes, only done toes so far thou! lol I do shape and cutilce work 1st. There are some around here charging £10-£15 but the are literally just applying it not even any sanatisation!!! or using trendy nail wraps and saying its minx !!!
Have a lovely new client who text me the day after I did her treatment saying thankyou for the pampering  gobsmacked! but hey she says she converted to me now and is coming to me for her xmas minx :)
As someone posted on a thread a few days ago, "good work aint cheap, and cheap work aint great" :) hth xx

Sarah - I love that saying "good work aint cheap, and cheap work aint great" - never heard it beofre, but so true!

Minx recommend you charge from £25 for fingers or toes.
I am not in a wealthy area so always go for the lower end of the RRP!
For the first month as an introductory special offer I charged £20 for Minx, I now charge £25 for Minx on fingers or toes, includes; file, cuticle tidy & Minx.

ckjustpamper - What are you charging for Minx at the moment?

x:hug:x

Well origionally i was charging £15 for fingers and £20.00 for toes as i was just so unsure...
But i have increased it to £25.00 for fingers and £28.00 for toes, i did my research in the area, and this still seems pretty reasonable compared to some others.
I just really wanted to check what other people were pricing as i just knew i was far too cheap etc...

Hi, sorry to piggyback this thread - I have literally just started doing minx did my first set of fingers the other day and about to do my first full set of toes next week. I am wanting to do this mobile, so wondered if you would charge a little cheaper or the same price? Im hoping to try go to clients houses and get them to bring a friend for a treatment too so saving me fuel money.
Would you offer maybe a few pound off it the client brings a friend to get minx done too or has fingers and toes done to encourage them to have more treatments?

Sorry for all the questions but I dont want to under sell myself but I dont want to be charging too much either?
I was thinking of maybe offering £15 for fingers and £18 for toes for close friends and family till I feel confident at doing them and have got my speed up?

At the salon we charge £25 for fingers and £28 toes - thats filing, cuticle work etc and the minx. The clients that I am doing at the moment are only being charged £10 to cover cost of materials but is friends and family only while I am getting used to doing them.

Thanks for any advice and again sorry for hijacking the thread x

I had this dilemma too - pricing- as it seems expensive. I decided to mainly advertise toes (but I do special occasions on fingers and just explain that it may not last more than 2-3 days- anything else then is a bonus).
As I am mobile/ home based I only order as I book a client so Minx could cost over £10 with postage. I can't guarantee that another client will want the same Minx, it hasn't happened yet! And so I'm making less than £10 per treament with all costs considered.

Other salons are charging £25-6 so I think I'm ok and may put up prices a bit after Christmas.

I still take 45-60 mins sometimes so my timings a bit out but I'm happy charging £20 at the mo.
Hope that helps

Is that an additional price of £15?
I'm going to charge Minx Mani £20 & Minx Pedi £25 - that covers filing, cuticle work and application of Minx.
Not sure what to charge if someone wanted a Spa Mani or Pedi treatment aswel.

In my salon in Fulham we charge £25 for minx ( file, cuticle work, minx app) and it usually takes 45 min. I like to trim the cuticle shape of the minx perfectly especially for toes cause I find them not matching well sometimes. Do you guys do that? Do you apply cuticle oil at the end?

I charge £20 for toes and £25 for fingers I don't understand why people charge more for toes when they use less minx! And that price includes file n cuticle work and takes me 20min but I've been doing minx since it first came out so have had lots of practice!

I used to charge £20 for both but put finger up and u really do use a lot more minx and I rarely do fibfers anyway x

I guess if people charge more for toes it is because the client will get MUCH longer out of them making the better value for money.
One of my clients had her Minx toes on for 12 weeks!
