I wouldn't remove a tip with a bubble ... I would remove the bubble by filing thru it. then apply my product.
 
close gigi it's onychomycosis also known as tinea unguium well done for answering ...i agree i would file out the bubble if it was minor but only twice ive had to soak off and re-apply because i put to much glue on the tipwell.
