Has any one bought this dvd from wow products. Is it any good seriously thinking of getting it for xmas, but its just so expensive i dont know if santa would appreciate me asking for it with the credit crunch and all that!!! lol:lol: but on a more serious note did anyone find it really useful its the more intimate areas i need to concentrate on.

I've never seen the DVD, but surely you would be beter off investing in some further training where you can get hands on with the tutor? I dont really think you can ever get out of a DVD what you can get out of being able to ask questions and be shown to a way that suits your waxing style IYKWIM.

For instance, Tonilee trained with Kim last week, now with Lee being a bit cack handed (no offence love! lol), Kim had to adapt the method around her to make it easier. If she had learned from a DVD she would not get this, she would have to stuggle to do it that way.

Yes a DVD you can go back to, but it cant answer your questions?! I would be bloomin amazed if it could! lol.

Further training would always win hands down for me.

Also this has been talked about many times before, if you do a search you will find what you are looking for!

Thanks kate,i done my waxing at college but as said in previous threads they dont use hot wax which i konw is by far the best for these areas. Kim is coming to northern ireland in 2009 so i'm hoping to get a class with her but just thought the dvd could help its really only bikini i'm not confdent in both with ordinary and hot wax. any other areas dont bother me. thanks for reply.:hug:

There have been loads of threads about this DVD. Here is just one:

If you search on the word ball then many more will come up.

I will close this one now so we dont get people having to repeat the information given on the other threads.

This is in reply to the thread this morning as I took so long preparing my reply only to find someone else closed the thread - how rude is that!

Well I feel I need to say Yes I have the DVD and it is well worth the money. I work for myself and trained with Carlton about a year ago as a side line to my nails business. I didn't feel very confident when I waxed as I didn't wax that often and had forgotton alot of my training. I nearly gave up waxing as I was begining to hate it. Especially the Bikini line! Lori Nestore, the trainer in the DVD teaches you how to wax everywhere imaginable in male and female, certainly areas I haven't been trained in before on my one day course with Carlton. She also introduces you to the Berins Blue non strip wax which I have since converted to and is brilliant for the Bikini area (no more sticky wax left on the Clients remaining pubic hair and less pain!). I personaly find the DVD very usefull for revision the day before I have a waxing client and gives me so many tips. For me it's like having a "Buddy" at work to guide me (a great asset when you work on your own). I did think about going on another training course but knew I would just forget things again if I'm not waxing all the time. The DVD has given me so much confidence. I love it and am enjoying waxing so much now.

Well i've got that off my chest now! LOL! I know it's been posted before but sometimes it's polite to answer someones query anyway.:smack:
