I'm coming up to my first year of business and I wanted to see how I'm comparing as it's very new to me!

What was your turnover/ profit in your first year?

How many full/part time staff were you employing?

Were you taking a wage?

Look forward to hearing all your replies!

It depends on your business.

My true first year working as a beauty therapist was from home.

As a salon it's slightly different. I had a large client base. When I became a 'salon' - so able to have more than just me there - I started to employ my daughter for 20 hours a week. Because she was my daughter, she was extremely flexible with times etc.

I look at those figures from the first year and can see how much the business grew. I have it all computerised so can see retail, treatments, growth etc.

What's profit lol.
