I have only joined you all a few days ago and im already hooked. This is ridiculous, iv gone from spending on average 5 mins a day on the computer (checking emails and ordering stock) to logging on every spare minute i have!!!

Just want to say what a friendly and helpfull bunch you seem and that its so nice to have you to talk to:lol: as being self employed can be pretty lonely at times!!!

Aw welcome to the site  I've been a member for way too long and the therapy just isn't working! So addicted I have to remain! :green:

I see what you mean lol. Have been on here just over a month and am similarly addicted ;)

I've got something to say <<<<<<<<<<<<<stands up abrubtly>>>>>>>>>>>>>> I'm hippy-chick and I'm a geekaholic, whilst I'm on me feet, I'm also an onionholic, a wineoholic, chocoholic..............fades into background

I have been here for nearly 2 years and I've never found the way out:green::green::green:

I get up in the mornign and the first thing i do is switch the pc on,just incase I've missed anything whilst Ive been sleeping.

I get a few mins spare in work and yes I'm in Geekland.

I get home from work and guess whats the first thing I do.:o

Hubby says I need thearapy

Therapy....I don't need therapy....I'm quite happy thankyou very much:lol:

I do think GMG should put a disclaimer in the T&C about addiction to the site......just think what we could get!!!
(only kidding)
I LOVE THIS SITE
xxx:hug:

Yep its true before I found this place I could pick up email write letters and print them and sometimes find things I wanted on the web
Then a nail geek who left me and went back to Canada, she knows who she is:irked:
told me about this site, so I have learned to geek, I iron when I start wearing Paul's clothes, I hoover when I have guests coming round ditto for the dusting and only cook when Paul starts rattling pans and sighing (breaks my geeking concentration)
I have a nail art addiction, am a geek aholic and this place IS my life:lol:

I've burned more dinners than I care to mention!

My hubby even had the cheek to have a chat about my geeking addiction this weekend whilst on our way to IKEA to buy a new table for my salon!

He says that if I burn the food, aahhem, that somehow or other it always ends up being his fault & he gets in the neck for not reminding me to pop back into the kitchen.

I think he's got a blooming cheek - I feed him, .....stuff....brown & black yes, but at least it's cooked and not a take away??!!

I'm a demon in the kitchen normally but get me on here & sod the grub & pass me the gin!

Yes my husband has lost me to Salon Geek!

Ha ha, well there is Sonia here playing a computer game on her laptop on the left of the sofa, and me on Salon Geek on my laptop on the right of the sofa. Puggy's got down (to bark at EastEnders) but she'd usually be snoring between us lol...

when I first started getting into it, my hub would still try to talk to me! tut tut!

then he would stand by the living room door and edge his way out asking if I was coming to bed and looking bemused. tut tut!

then I started getting parcels from geekers (santa geek). He was totally baffled by that.

then I started collecting things to send to a GEEK. by now, geek is embedded into his brain.

tonight, over tea, I mentioned that I was popping out at 5.45 to meet a GEEK for a drink! one that I had never met and only knew their first name. haha. He just looked stunned!

I daren't tell him that on Wednesday I am going to take all my clothes off and stand infront of a geek (in the name of spray tanning).

Yes it tis true, it takes over your life. My whole family now talk about me geeking!!!! It is not the the same if I haven't had my early morning geek with my coffee!

Yes I know what you all mean so far whilst geeking this evening, Ive managed to cook some pasta and in a rush to get back geeking iv lost it all down the sink.

well im p***** off to say the least and means more time tiding up and less time geeking.

And nothing to eat, so fish and chips will be on order for this evening. :irked:
