Hi

I have recently been hearing more and more about threading and how it is so much kinder to the skin, as a sufferer of eczema I am really keen to let someone loose on my unwanted facial hairy bits :irked: LOL

I have done a google search with no joy...does anyone know who offers it in Cirencester or Cheltenham area in Gloucestershire.

Thanks

I've found a lady in Swindon who does threading from her house, PM me if you want her name and number.

i'm very familiar with threading. it is NOT NECESSARILY kinder to the skin. the skin can VERY easily be cut if the threader is not an expert and consistently guiding the client as to how and where to hold the skin taught, which they should be.

the cuts, as any psoriatic or exzema sufferer will know, can easily turn into the skin disorder, as part of the healing process.

i have very thick brows, also suffer from psoriasis- my verdict is that i love threading, am always told my brows looks amazing when i have it done by the 2 people i have found to be totally competant in this art in over 7 years, so just be careful who you go for this treatment specifically.

Hi, I am a qualified waxer myself but have recently been getting threaded for about 6 months and I have to say for me it has been excellent and wil continue with my brows and lip (eugh) in this way. I used to react quite badly on my upper lip but seem not to react with the threading, this said however, i'm not sure about other skin conditions.
There are two ladies who thread in debenhams in glos and they are excellent, this is where I always go, there on the ground floor and reasonably priced.
Hope this helps, Laura xx
