hi
i did a threading course today and have no clue really what to charge??
the trainer charges £24 for brows!! but when i check on google what others charge they are more liek £3-5
i do semi perm lashes and have to do these at a really low price coz of the cmpetition in my area,, and really dont want to have to do it againg for threading
what do you charge or think is acceptable??
thanks xx

Wow she is mega expensive, but if she is good people will pay it. In my salon we charge £8.00 for brows and Jenny has been doing it for 3 years now!

So I think to start you will be looking at charging only £5.00 until you have mastered it confidently.

I cant speak for myself as I do not offer threading as a treatment myself but I find a lot of therapists in my area offer it for between £10 and £12 and as a consumer of this treatment I would happily pay this price. I definately wouldnt pay £24 for eyebrow threading but thats because in my area it is no where near that price. I do suggest you look at people in your area and see what they are offering and how much for. I know youve said its not what you really want to hear but by doing it your atleast not pricing yourself out of the market and therefore not gaining clients for the treatment.

I hope this helps in some way.

Emily :D

great thanks
she has worked in harrods, harvey nicholls ect... she does dead well has been able to do it from age 8!!! her mum did it,
i was thinkin about £8 for brows, £ 6 for top lip, £6 for chin or side of face.

i do need to practice practice practice though
thanks for your reply xx

thanks emily!
i am gonna have to stay somewhere in the middle aren't i??
as she said today it is an art, and nothing like waxing, so by pricing high i will get the money back for the talent used,,(assuming i get good lol)
will defo check the competition xxxxxxxxxx
thanks xxx

Yes practice on anyone you can get your hands on, just do their legs and arms till you get the movement right for now.
I have just started to do it, but only for removing strays on lips and chins till I get confident enough, to be let loose on brows..;)

So good luck and enjoy!

I charge £10 for eyebrows and £7 lip and the same for chin.
I have people asking me for sides of face which I had never even thought of so be prepared for that!
How did you get on? Did you enjoy it?

Aw fab! Glad you enjoyed it. It's a really good treatment to learn.
My clients are happy to pay this price because you will notice most of the threading therapists just plonk them in a chair and yank their head back and it's just not very nice.

Goooood luck!!

thanks alot xxxxxxx
