Hi, I live in Derbyshire and from Saturday we are in tier 2. The main change is no mixing indoors with anyone that doesn’t live in your home. Here’s my problem....I have a room in my house converted to work from, solely for that purpose, an upstairs room. As it’s for a business am I still allowed to have clients in my home? Anyone else in my situation? If so are you carrying on? I don’t want to stop unless they actually shut us down properly, thanks 😊

You need to check with your individual Local Authority for specifics but on the whole the regulations relate to socialising- you are working not socialising so it's not an issue

Thank you, that was what I assumed it would be but I wasn’t sure, it must affect so many people in the higher tiers who work from home. I hope that we can avoid a total lockdown, my business is at least 50% down already, it’s so worrying.

Nottingham is the only LA to stop Close Contact at the moment. I genuinely don't know the answer to the whole thing, I'm not convinced local lockdowns work but a national one will kill of many, many businesses. Its a scary time for everyone from all directions.

I'm in Scotland, and mobiles have been stopped in tier 2, 3 and 4. There's a backlash and more clarification coming out, but it's looking like mobiles are banned from entering houses, home salons must have sep entrance, sep utilities, etc to be deemed a salon, in order to stay open. Mobile beauty has never been allowed to open yet.
