Hi there,

Can anyone provide any clarity on whether a mobile therapist can still visit clients in the tier 3 restrictions. This is what I’ve read so far:

’Can I work mobile in COVID Alert Levels, tier 2 & 3 areas? (high and very high).
Mobile therapists can still operate in private homes under Tier 2 restrictions. The same will apply to Tier 3 restrictions, unless the Local Authority Leaders decide to close close contact services during the period they are in Tier 3’

Have contacted my local authority for assurance - but unable to get through.

There are no restrictions on Personal Services in any Tier in England

Thank you for getting back to me - is this anywhere in writing in case I get challenged on this ?

All over google, facebook, NHBF, Most of the newspapers on line

Thank you for this.

Does the rule absolutely apply to a mobile therapist ? I appreciate salons can open. I only ask because my local council gave me a conflicting impression. I have written directly to Gov.UK for absolute clarity.

Personal services is all encompassing - salon, mobile, homebased - tier restrictions only apply to socialising

You’ve been so helpful, honestly. Have a great weekend.
