Hi,
Just wondered if anyone could help out on this one. I did a clients nails yesterday, Tip and overlay L&P.
She rang me this morning to say that her enhancements feel very tight on her nails ?
I told her that it is just probalybecause she has not worn enhancement before,
I am not sure whether to just remove them for her, and try maybe a gel overlay instead any ideas?

Most likely cause is excessive shrinkage of the product which is caused when your mix is too wet.

Most gels have a greater shrinkage rate than liquid/powder so probably not a good idea. Usually after 24 hours the feeling passes so you shouldn't need to soak off. But watch your mix next time. Excess shrinkage can lead to onycholysis on a thin or weak and damaged nail.

Thanks for you reply Geeg. I will see how she goes over next couple of days.
