How long do you allow for a file and polish?

I'm helping out at a local school pamper night and have 15 minutes per client. I'm trying to work out what services i can offer in 15 minutes

Hi I did one a couple of months ago and offered pedicures - which didnt work so well as it took me quite a long time. Im also doing a school one in a couple of weeks and am offering mini-manicures.....at the last one they seemed quite popular as well as just a shape and paint. Hope thats some help

I'm thinking of doing:

express manicure - cuticle, shape and polish (no polish - massage instead)
express pedicure - as above
nail art - designs of my choice, so basic flicks etc

Was considering these weekend nails that i keep hearing about, maybe doing that too depending on cost

Hi

I have done a few such pamper evenings and find them a great opportunity to hand out business cards/leaflets and to give a client an example of what you can do for them, and discuss nail care.

15 mins is time enough for a shape n paint.... anti bac hand wash, nail shape with the file, base, colour and top coat. Also offer the same, but with french finish. I have basic nail art to hand also, such as a diamante or two to add a little sparkle, or fine liners or striping brushes to add some flicks, feathering or stripes, dotting tool for some little flower patterns etc...

It is difficult in the time allowed to offer too much, plus generally people need their hands free during the evening so are happy to have the shape and paints, with a quick dry top coat.

Have a good evening, all the best

If you find it tricky to do a shape and polish in 15 minutes then you could offer a shape and buff to a glass-like high shine finish. This looks lovely and you could have some buffers to sell as well.

Also a nail shape and cuticle work.

Or a relaxing hand and lower arm massage - you could offer a choice of hand cream which again you could retail.

Don't forget to take lots of your price lists/business cards and maybe have a special offer to encourage the visitors to book a follow on treatment with you.

Hope that helps
