I have had blonde highlights in my naturally brown hair for the past three years but since i have been wearing my hair up more recently i have noticed how odd the streaks in my hair look when its tied back.
I have herd about having a tint which i think is an all over colour but I'm not 100% sure and I don't know how natural it looks.
Can someone just fill me in on what there is to know about tints please

Yes a tint is an all over colour and when your hair starts to grow, you get a straight line of your natural colour showing and usually you have to roots redone about every 4 to 6 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows. Hi-lites are usually better because you get a more uneven look as it is growing out.

Maybe you could try having 1 foil of your usual blonde and 1 foil of a slightly darker colour that is nearer to your natural colour? :)
